Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate our Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.

Bethlehem College Ashfield’s close connection to the St Vincent’s parish community allows our students the opportunity to attend weekly Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day Masses and to contribute to parish outreach activities, including St Vincent de Paul Christmas appeal Night Patrol. Students also attend whole school Eucharistic celebrations each term including the opening Mass, Bethlehem Day, Year 12 graduation and the college end of year Mass.

Each year group in the college attends either a reflection day (Years 7, 8, 11) or overnight retreat (Years 10 and 12) to spend time reflecting on their faith and spirituality. The college also hosts regular student led evangelisation events with youth from neighbouring schools and participates in local and global youth faith formation events such as the Australian Catholic Youth Festival (ACYF) and World Youth Day (WYD)
